Widely regarded as “one of the most prestigious competitions in the classical music world” (The New York Times), the 17th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition will be held in Fort Worth, Texas, USA, from May 21 to June 7, 2025. Since its inception in 1962, it has been held every four years and has garnered significant attention from pianists worldwide due to its high standards for evaluating contestants’ overall abilities. Besides cash prizes, winners receive comprehensive career management, artistic support, and enhanced promotional efforts for the following three years.

I once assisted him with tuning and adjusting his Steinway B211, and listened closely to the captivating finger technique that resembled pearls dropping on a jade plate. Especially memorable was attending Xiao Wuzi’s concert, where the interpretation of Chopin’s work, Chopin’s Barcarolle in F-sharp major, Op. 60, was a perfect outstanding representation of Chopin’s artistry. The skill displayed in playing it seamlessly was solid and powerful, truly deserving the pride of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. It is said that this piece is among the most difficult works of Chopin, demanding exceptional expressive technique and heartfelt dedication in its performance.

01比赛规则

1. 比赛面向所有国籍的钢琴家开放，往届范·克莱本国际钢琴比赛一等奖获得者没有资格参赛，申请人必须出生于1994年6月7日-2007年5月21日之间。

2. 在某些情况下，国际参赛者需要签证。申请人应咨询最近的美国大使馆或领事馆以获取指导。

3. 从2025年5月18日开始的定向和钢琴选拔开始，参赛者在比赛期间不得有任何专业或其他承诺。不允许有任何例外。

4. 所有被接受参赛的参赛者都将获得前往沃斯堡的免费往返经济舱机票。

预选赛结果通知：2025年1月14日

03预选赛视频

比赛分为提交申请视频-现场筛选试听-初赛-四分之一决赛-半决赛-决赛。

申请视频

·提交的视频时长必须在 35 到 40 分钟之间。

·曲目将包括钢琴家选择的作品，可从比赛独奏轮次提供的作品中选择。

·只接受完整的作品。

·申请人可以提交一个包含所有作品的视频，也可以为每个作品提交单独的视频。

·所有视频必须始终在画面中拍摄钢琴家的脸和手。

·如果在一个视频中提交所有作品，可以在每个曲目选择之间暂停录制。每部作品必须是连续且未经编辑的表演。

·视频的拍摄时间不得早于提交申请前12个月。

04奖项

2022年范·克莱本国际钢琴比赛奖项

金牌获得者：100,000 美元

银牌获得者：50,000 美元

铜牌获得者：25,000 美元

另有其他特别奖项。

05报名材料

1. 35-40分钟的视频录像（每个视频文件不超过4GB）

2. 护照、出生证明或同等年龄证明

3. 至少三张高分辨率彩色照片（300dpi或更高），包括一张直视镜头的彩色头像和一张可以横向裁剪适用于宣传目的的照片

4. 过去五个乐季的任何新闻评论或文章的副本
